I´m ready for any kind of action! Pedro was super and very popular with us New York fan at Madison square Garden. Sad companies haven´t come out with a wrestling doll/ figure of Pedro.

Karen....my deepest thoughts and prayers for your loss of Pedro, a truly wonderful man. I have numerous memories of your beautiful family from 1984/85 in Isla Verde, PR. I never forgot the kindness you, Pedro, and your son Pedro showed to me and Widget while we were neighbors so many years ago. Sadly, I had lost your address during a relocation in Florida.....but I have never forgotten you Pedro, and Pedro.

We only knew Pedro and Karen for a short time when we met at the Venetian Rehab center. Our father Don, was there at the same time as Pedro. They became friendly and had their meals together. It was nice for our father to have a friend there. Pedro liked to tell us stories about his wrestling days and always made us laugh. He was very sweet and funny and we liked him very much. Karen, you are the most devoted wife. Pedro told us how he would marry you all over again and you made him very happy. Rest In Peace Pedro

We grew up with Pedro in The San Francisco Area in the very late 60s as the partner of Pepper Gomez.
He returned after his time as WWWF Champion, and was the victim of the Don Muraco villian turn of 1975.
A great wrestler who always gave the very best of his ability, and always took the time to say a few words to the Spanish speaking audience, as was my grandma. Rest well champ.

I had the pleasure of meeting Pedro at the Woodbridge Racquet Club. A real gentleman, fun to be around, his size and strength belied his sweetness . I thank you for enriching my life, even if it was for a short time. I will toast you with my next Corona my friend...you will be missed.

God bless Pedro and may he rest in peace. I recall meeting him at the old Rockerfellas restaurant in Woodbridge. I was picking up take out when he informed me I might as well take a seat at the bar because the service was slow. The gentleman sitting next to him asked if I knew who Pedro Morales was. I informed him he was a famous WWF (WWE) wrestler. Pedro then introduced himself. We talked about wrestling for the next 25 minutes over a drink. I have to say he was right. The service was slow. He was so down to earth. I was lucky enough to see him again at the old Ruggs and Riffys one night. He was there with his wife Karen. What a lovely couple they were. To Karen and the Morales family...sorry for your loss.

I was saddened to hear about Mr. Pedro Morales' passing. Seeing him in this photo brought back a lot of fond childhood memories. I was just a child when my grandparents, parents, uncles, my young cousins and myself would sit around our living room to watch Mr. Morales wrestle his opponents on TV. Those were very enthusiastic times! The adults proudly talked about their great Latino champion, saying he was a man of great character and strength. My family considered him a true hero. I know Mr. Morales will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his many wrestling fans. He gave so much of himself and he will be remembered by all of us who admired him. My sincere condolences and prayers for the Morales Family and friends. May you rest in peace, Pedro.

I met Pedro and his wife a few years ago at a restaurant in Edison. He looked familiar so I went up to him and asked, do you watch wrestling? Knowing what I was thinking, he replied, yes, I am him ... He invited me to sit by his table and introduced me to his wife. It was one of those moments I'll never forget. Yes, Pedro was one of a kind. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Pedro.
We were in St. Michaels hospital in Newark together years ago.
I was there for a heart procedure and was very nervous and he was very helpful to calm me down with his stories.
I went to see him before I left but he was moved to another and I never got to see him.
We lived only a town apart but I never got in touched with him. He talked a lot about going back to Puerto Rico. He told me if I ever go to his home town of Culebra which I could tell he really missed.

He was my favorite wrestler! He got hurt in the ring at Worcester Auditorium and I left my seat and ran up to the ropes and asked him if he was ok! That was so long ago but I never forgot that moment. RIP Pedro. There is no wrestling now like the old days !
