My deepest sympathies are extended to the family of Dr. Jones. She pioneered to help people in need and lived into her nineties as a strong and mighty woman herself. Our prayers are for everyone to see a time when there is no sickness or death.

I just recently learned about the death of Dr. Edith Irby Jones, and I send my deepest condolences to the Jones Family. I remember in the early 1970s my mother took me to visit Dr. Jones and I was impressed with her friendliness and the time she spent with people. I was impressed because I had never met a female African American doctor before. I reflect on my visit with Dr. Jones to this day. Her kind heart and caring spirit will be dearly missed. Dr. Edith Irby Jones has inspired many people and surely her legacy will continue.
Please continue to cherish the good memories. May they provide comfort for you. May God give you strength, comfort, and peace always. May prayers strengthen you and cherished memories comfort you. May Gods love and peace comfort you forever.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Myra, Keith, Gary and the multitudes of Jones family members. May God grace with strength during this period in the lost of your mother. A very gracious lady when I met her in 1965, at the times I visited your house. If you remember back then, I was the person directed by your father to pick up on Saturdays to take you swimming, violin, and music lessons when you were small. Fortunately, I the opportunity for a short visit at the house with her and Keith in 2018. It brought my heart great pleasure to see her after many years. May God continue bless you.

Sweetheart Of a Doctor that I had the honor to work with at Park Plaza Hospital. At Christmas time she gave the nurses 2 coin dollars. She said to keep one and spend one. Give good and good will come back to you. She wrote a personal note in the first one I received and signed it. That was 1989. Then I received one in 1992 and 1993. I loved her. She was so kind and selfless. RIP to a wonderful, beautiful lady.

One of the best person I have ever known. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You were a treasure for me and my family. My mother had 10 girls and could not afford medical treatment, but you never turned us away. You provided care for from childhood to adulthood and I say THANK YOU.
