Brenda Jones Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Martin & Hightower Funeral Home - Carrollton on Dec. 24, 2025.
With hearts full of love and remembrance, we announce the passing of Brenda Sue Jones, who entered eternal rest peacefully on December 20, 2025. Born on March 1, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia, Brenda lived a life defined by compassion, devotion, and a quiet strength that made everyone around her feel seen and cared for.
Brenda's greatest joy was her family. A devoted homemaker, she created a home filled with warmth, comfort, and laughter. She had a gentle way of nurturing those she loved, whether through thoughtful conversations, shared meals, or simply being present when someone needed her most. Family gatherings were brighter because of Brenda, her smile, her kindness, and her ability to make ordinary moments feel special.
She shared her life with her significant other, Steve Smith, and was a loving and proud mother to her daughters, Krystal Rogers and her husband Wade, and Stacey Neese. Brenda was especially proud of her grandchildren, Chase Cowan, Joshua Neese, Dylan Rogers, and Bailey Rogers, who brought immense happiness to her life. She is also survived by her sisters, Deanna Brather, Janet Lee, and Mary Mosley, along with many extended family members and friends who were touched by her caring heart.
Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ruby Gaddis Bragg; her son, Jason Bragg; and her sister, Linda Treadwell.
The family will receive friends for visitation on December 27, 2025, from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home. This time will serve as a celebration of Brenda's life, a chance to share memories, reflect on the moments that mattered most, and honor a woman whose love continues to live on.
In accordance with her wishes, Brenda will be cremated, and her family will honor her life and memory with the same care and respect she showed to others throughout her life.
Messages of condolence may be shared with the family at www.martin-hightower.com. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Jones family during this time.
