My brother was known as Neiron Ball! He graduated from high school early and was in the BETA club. Although people started calling him Wheezy when he was drafted into the NFL , his college friends and family members who genuinely cared for him simply knew him as Neiron. He was not a street kid by far, but a high achiever in his academics throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school. His favorite teacher was Mrs. Zant and we joked about him stalking her when he was in elementary and middle school. She kept up with him throughout his entire life, not just when he began to soar as an athlete. She attended his memorial and I gave her his Gator pillow because she was special to him and our family. I will miss my little brother who was a GREAT person who wanted to make everyone happy at the expense of his own happiness. I am blessed to have been there ALL his life; it was an honor to hold his hand on September 16, 2019 as he transitioned to be with the Lord. May everyone remember Neiron Ball and his infectious smile.

He always had a smile on his face. He would always hug me when I saw him at Red Devil games. He was a joy to be around and a humble person. Fly high Neiron.
