Dear Family and Friends of Publisher, Mr. Garth Reeves Sr:
I am a 42 year Member going on 43 year Member of Sixth Grace Presbyterian Church, located at 600 East 35th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60616. Reverend Dr. David B. Thornton is the Pastor, The Moderator of The Session, and The Head of The Staff.
Former Pastor, Reverend Donald B. Register is now Sixth Grace Presbyterian Church Pastor Emeritus. Pastor Thornton is my Confidante, Teacher, Mentor, and Spiritual Advisor.
I am also A Former Member of Church Musician Ship Guild, Inc. (1988-2008). The late Dr. Mildred G. Lewis was The Founder, and Executive Director. I was their Executive Secretary, and Public Relations Director. I worked with Pastors, Musicians, and Churches of every Denomination.
I will keep you all in my prayers, especially during this difficult time. I am also a writer. Garth did leave a great legacy. He will truly be missed by all those people whose lives that he had touched.
You all loved Garth, but the Lord our God who is truly amazing will love him even more. "WELL DONE THY GOOD, AND FAITHFUL SERVANT" MATTHEW 25:21, "REST IN PEACE, BROTHER, GARTH". He has done great things at Sixth Grace Presbyterian Church.
I am also a Former Proud Member of Church Musician Ship Guild, Inc. (1988-2008). The late Dr. Mildred G. Lewis was the Founder, and Executive Director. I was their Executive Secretary, and Public Relations Director. I had been with this wonderful organization for about twenty years.
This organization was founded in the year of 1984. I do keep in touch with A Former Member, Ms. Renee Ware. She is a Member of Christ Chapel Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. Located at 6734 South Racine, Chicago, Illinois.
I will keep you all in my prayers, especially during this difficult time. Garth will truly be missed by all the people who loved him. Always remember that you all loved Garth, but the Lord our God who is truly magnificent will love him even more. He is in a good place.
