The six photos I will post here and above an incredible testament to the far-reaching nature of Jimmy Heath's work.
Three are with Douglas Turner, my lifelong buddy and a professor, DJ and producer at WJAB/Alabama A&M University in 2007. Back in the day we would blast Jimmy's tunes into the high school quad.
The other three are with trumpeter Darren English, a friend I met just recently in Cape Town.
So many lives touched!
