The first video I saw of Lee was when she picked up her first new vehicle purchased--a white van that she drove & filmed on a 2-lane highway with steep cliffs overlooking "Big Sur". I couldn't believe that Lee felt and seemed to have no fear high up on that winding and thin road with no guardrails that I saw! I now wonder what attracted Lee to that road high over Big Sur....and I wonder whether her beautiful spirit and self was always thinking about where, when, and how she would exit. I wish that she would have told her many followers and loved ones her intentions and gotten help because she radiated love and light.

Lee made videos and didn't know who would see them. I saw them. And fell in love with her, her spirit, her smile. It's been years since her death and I still think of her often. She was a powerhouse! She changed me on a cellular level. A beautiful soul. Held tightly in my soul. For the rest of my life, long after this post.

That I didn't know Lee except for her videos on YouTube with Max. I was so depressed when I found out that she committed suicide. I deeply loved this lady because she was all God meant for a lady to be in our world. She loved like no other and loved everyone and everything out Lord put in her path. Lee shine bright in Heaven and I will meet you when I arrive. We all LOVE YOU DEAR LEE.

I think about Lee often. Ive never met her but that doesnt change that i feel such a loss with her being gone. While i watch her close friends and family try to live thier life without her, i can only imagine the loss they are living with. I wish she knew how much she was loved and how much joy to brought to complete strangers. Hopefully she sees how much she is missed and how often she crosses alot of minds. Rest easy Lee and know you were so loved.

I cried when I learned of your passing even though I never met you. You were such an inspiration for my partner and I to live the vanlife-life. So much so that we took a lot of your van build layout into our van build. We followed your videos when it was both you and Max, and continued watching after when it was just you. I dicovered you in pandemic of 2020 and loved your videos already. Just today when I was searching my YT subscribed channels found out that you weren't posting anything since almost a year and when searching your social media sites, found out that you past away tragically. This sad news had moved me inside and feel pain. Rest in peace beautiful angel. Sincerely condolences to the familly and closed friends. You remain in our soul forever!

Such a tragedy. Lee was such a beautiful person. I'm a U.S. Veteran with PTSD. Even though I never met Lee I can relate to how she felt. Its so sad that she could not see how much she was loved by family and friends. Rest in Peace Lee.

Lee I loved watching you in your videos with Max. But when you went to Eamon and Bec, I was so thrilled that you were the friendliest and happiest person I saw. I saw me in you. I only knew Lee on Ytube. I am just getting into vanlife and found Max&Lee’s videos. She was magnetic. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her creative and beautiful videos. I could easily see her light, intelligence, health and beauty. I want to thank her for being genuine and transparent, for being such a wonderful friend to all. I wish I could have met her but I know she positively impacted everyone around her. It is as if she knew she only had a short time on this earth so she gave her essence to us. My most deepest condolences to Lee's family and friends. Today is April 26, 2021, my youngest son birthday today, he is 28 years old. I turned on YouTube this morning and the first video was about Lee. I saw the whole video and was over whelmed with sadness. I don't understand why these things happen, only knowing what happens to me when i have lost all hope, i turn to my Bible where i read about a Creator who loves us so much that He keeps our tears in a bottle. I never knew Lee in person, but got to "meet" her through Eamon and Bec's videos. She came across as such a fun, vibrant person. I had no idea of her inner struggles with depression, so I was doubly shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Such a tragic loss. I never met Lee but did see a number of her adventurous van life videos and found her to be authentic, courageous and strong. She was living the dream that so many, myself included, aren’t courageous enough to live. My thoughts are with her family and friends now. I am struggling to accept this reality... I never met Lee but I too used to watch Max&Lee on youtube. I too consider myself a nomad, a vegan, lover of animals, a furmama who travels with her dogs... Through her videos I could relate to her so much and she still inspired me. She looked like life itself, so full of energy and love for all things around her. I am so very sorry for your loss. And I am sorry for the rest of us too...
I believe she was exactly what an influencer should be, she always promoted the positive and what was right.. what was possible. Possible to achieve. She was an everyday girl like many of us but an everyday girl who taught us how life could be. And she was brilliant!

I saw Lee at the One of a Kind Show Christmas 2019 at the Chaiwala booth. She was a bright light, so vivacious! I followed her on all the social media platforms. To the friends and family of Lee. Like many, I didn't know Lee but occasionally watched her VL videos. She was a beautiful, and sweet soul. What a tragedy this is, and I cannot imagine your immense grief. When things like this happen, it doesn't make any sense and you struggle to get your mind around it, and yet-it happened. There are no real words to say in this situation, but I believe that souls continue on, so just hold in your heart that she is there, loving you, comforting you.
