I remember bob when he would play with my uncle Roger in sugar Willie’s band the cubes. What a wonderful time back then. I also remember Molly sometimes singing when the band would practice .. my uncle used to tell me what an accomplished pianist bob was. For I was very young and had no idea what I was witnessing. We asked bob to play at moms funeral but he had other gigs that day ..His music will live forever. I have several recordings of the cubes when they would play at Shakey’s and Al Capones in the north area. Condolences to the family.

Bob was a guy and high school friend at San Juan High School, Citrus Heights, CA , ‘59 - ‘60. Our Spanish teacher, Mrs. Clavell, assigned me the task of reading Spanish to Bob for the entire year. To be honest, we talked about more than Spanish. I soon found out Bob was a HAM radio operator, and since I had a WWII receiver radio, I was able to listen to him broadcasting over his call sign K6YBV - can’t believe I still remember that, but it was important at the time. When he found out I had lived in Tripoli, Libya when I was 7 to 10 years old, he wanted to know all about the ancient Roman cities I had explored there. It was such a warm experience helping such a dedicated and fine person. May he rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Bob Ringwald. I met Bob through my nephew Darrell during their Fulton Street days. What an amazing man and pianist, with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I met Bob in 1971/72 driving him and Molly to many of his gigs. We were regulars at Capone's in Sacramento. I remember so much his appreciation of sending the Annie New York Playbill to Molly. Rest in Peace My Friend. Will never forget the music.
