Michael Joseph PaPa Drago

Mike Drago, "PaPa" to those who loved him most, peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, March 03. He will truly be missed beyond measure. Mike is survived by his wife of 61 years, Naomi Clark Drago, his three daughters and their loved ones, Shaun and Jim Austin, Kaley Drago and Michelle and Todd Jackson. He is the proud PaPa to six grandchildren and their families, Brendan Drago, JQ and Becca Austin, Trevor and Victoria Drago, Michael and Shelby Austin, Luke and Susan Jackson and Alex Jackson. His love and pride for his family have blessed the lives of his three great-grandchildren, Eli Austin, Nissi Austin and Trey Drago. Mike is survived by three of his siblings and their families, Ida Arnold, Greg and Lynn Drago, and Vanessa Drago and extended family and lifelong friends. Welcoming Mike to eternal life are his parents Frank and Belva Drago, his in-laws TV and Ruby Clark, his siblings, Frank Jr, Roma, Sheila, Coralie, Barbara and Patsy, his great granddaughter, Nola Grace and an army of angels he has been blessed to call family and friends. Mike was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was a lifelong LSU tiger fan and proud alum of Redemptorist High School. Mike's family would like to thank his extended family and friends for the many memories, prayers and heartfelt love. Thank you to all the doctors and medical teams that were part of his care. His life will be celebrated at Resthaven Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, La with visitation Monday, March 06 5pm to 8pm. On Tuesday, March 07 visitation will be held from 9:30am until mass at 10:30am at St. John the Baptist in Zachary, La followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Gardens in Baton Rouge, La.
