Jim I want you to know that you’re football tradition at Syracuse when you were playing with Cleveland convince me to play football never made it past the small college it doesn’t matter but I think what I’m saying can be said for a lot of guys. To the family, many, many friends, and fans of this great person who played and loved the game of football. Mr. Jim Brown was widely considered to be one of the best running backs and greatest football players of all time. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame just a few years after his retirement in 1971. Mr. Jim Brown had a great career in football and in his community. May you find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together with Mr. Jim Brown. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Mr. Jim Brown. We will never forget that Mr. Jim Brown was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971, what a tremendous goal and accomplishment. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.

My condolences to the family of Jim Brown. He was my hero. I played high school football at Strongsville in the mid 1960's, and I KNOW that Jim was an inspiration to many of us when we put on the pads for our games on Friday nights. But even more important was the example that he set, through his courageous leadership during the Civil Rights movement, and during which time that he was still an active player. Jim Brown was a strong man, who like all of us had our challenges, but I will always remember him for his contributions to the cause of Civil Rights, as well as his amazing and unequaled accomplishments on the athletic field.
Once again, my most sincere sympathy to the family, as well to those close to Mr. Brown, who knew and loved him. As Cleric John Donne once said, "No man is an island, in and of itself, every man's death diminishes me, for I am part of mankind."
It is in this spirit that I feel the loss of this Great Man. God Bless his family, and God Bless and keep you Mr. Jim Brown.

My condolences to Monique and the family. Jim & I were classmates from 7th through 12th grade and teamates in all sports. We played together on his record breaking football and basketball teams and my record breaking baseball team in the 50ties. I enjoyed working on the movie Jim brown: All-American.Our contact has continued life long. You have provided Manhasset with lifelong support which is greatly appreciated. Jim Brown. What a legend! I played football against Jim in the mid 1950s, Jim at Syracuse and I at Cornell. He was great in two sports , football and lacrosse and played also at college level in basketball and track. Many say he was the greatest lacrosse player of all times. He was always the gentleman!

Mr. Browns legacy will stand the test of time. I grew up watching greatness and seen many of his exploits. I remember his game against Baltimore in 1964. I was there that day. #32 was the greatest ever no one is even close. Rest in peace Mr. Brown and if there is an end zone in heaven, I know you are already standing in it.

Jim and I met at our cattle sale in San Antonio in the La Mansion Ballroom back in the late 80's. We had dinner and I was encouraging him to buy some of our Registerd Brangus and he was encouraging me to invest in his latest movie. Neither happened, but we had a great time and dinner. RIP Mr. Brown, it was a pleasure.
