Charles "Charlie" William Brown, age 60, of Black River Falls, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at his home.
Charlie was born on October 13, 1965, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin to Charles Henry and Donna Jean (Spangler) Brown. Charlie spent his life as a bachelor, living life his way.
Charlie attended Lincoln High School in Alma Center, WI and after high school he spent his working years helping Emil on the farm where he found great joy. He also worked as a bartender, cashier, and worked in a couple of different factories.
Charlie's hobbies were hunting, fishing, grilling, and spending time with his good friends and his family.
Charlie is survived by his son, Christopher Matthew; younger brother, Michael and Hannah (Stewart) Brown of Black River Falls, sisters, Stephanie (Bryce) Hanson of Hawkeye, Iowa, and Debra (Heath) Dunn of Marshfield, Wisconsin. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jeremey (Stacy) and Trenton Brown, Justin (Abbey) Hanson, Rachel Hanson, Brea (David) Balik, Stella, Aaron, and Mia Stewart, and Lilly Shaw, and 11 great nieces and nephews. Also survived by Aunt Jan, Uncle Vern, Aunt Lois, Aunt Judy and several cousins.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Donna, sister, Michelle in infancy, maternal and paternal grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family.
Memorials can be made to Charlie's siblings to help cover the cost of arrangements and burial.
