Leon Dunsmore Obituary
Leon Dunsmore passed away November, 17, age 85. Leon was born in
Davenport, Oklahoma November 3, 1937, to Charles and Clara
Dunsmore. He grew up in Cushing Oklahoma graduating from Cushing
High School and continued his education at Oklahoma State University
graduating with AS and BS degrees. Leon was an avid OSU sports fan
especially football and basketball. He was employed with American
Airlines Maintenance and Engineering Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma retiring
after 31.5 years. He enjoyed playing golf, fine art, music, traveling,
sports, and being with family and friends. Leon is survived by his
cherished children and grandchildren, Mike Dunsmore and wife Kathy,
daughters, Abby and Amanda; Southborough, MA; Rod Dunsmore and
wife Amy Jo, son Drew, daughter Mary and son Gabe, Austin TX; Lara
Salinas and husband Sean, daughter Samantha and son Sean II, Frisco TX;
significant other, Patricia Patterson, Frisco TX; stepson Randy Reel, son
Chris and wife Jade, Moore, Oklahoma; daughters, Taylor and Lindsey,
Owasso, OK. Leon was preceded in death by his wife Linda, brothers,
Johnnie and Leroy Dunsmore and parents, Charles and Clara Dunsmore.
