Allen Dwight Hetherington, 63, of Porter, Oklahoma, died on Monday, April 17, 2023, in his home.
He was born on August 30, 1959, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Glenic Cleora (Thompson) Wiggs. He received his education in Coweta, Ok.
Allen was a concrete finisher and heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary (Keele) Hetherington; and his granddaughter, Avery Paige Henderson.
Allen is survived by a daughter, Misty Henderson and her husband, Kirk; and grandsons, Hunter, Dax, and Coy (Kansas);
sons, Valace Sanders and his wife, Amber, and children Dakota, Rylan, and Paislei (Oklahoma) and Marcus Hetherington and children, Lynley and Ringo (Oklahoma);
brothers, Ken Hetherington and wife, Angie and David Wayne Hetherington Jr; sisters, Jayne (Wiggs) and husband, Mike Ritzendollar and Judy Hetherington; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Broken Arrow Indian United Methodist Church.
