RAVENA - Diane Gager Hoffman, 76, peacefully passed away, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Diane was born in Scranton, Pa., on July 2, 1949, a daughter of the late Donald and Rita Ratchford Gager. She actively lived her faith through service to the community. Diane was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Ravena, actively volunteering in many ministries of the church. She was known throughout the wider community as the manager of "The Pantry at St. Patrick's." She will be remembered for her unmatched generosity, forthright nature, and the strength of her convictions.
Diane is survived by her siblings, twin sister, Donna Hagen (Kenneth Van Alstyne), Sean (Penny) Gager, Michael Gager (Tracy O'Connor), and Mary (Robert) Tice; nieces, Michelle Hagen, Amanda Gager, Sarah Roberts, Kathleen (Steve) Carroll, and Leah (Zebulon) Barger; nephews, Sean (Lauren) Gager and Christopher (Erika) Tice; grandnieces, Kali (Zach) Hoffman, Jillian Hagen (Mark Dearstyne), and Maeve Carroll; grandnephews, Colin Mikulski, Christian Mikulski, James Roberts, Reed Carroll, and Henry Roberts. In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by her nephew, Robert Hagen and niece, Katie Gager.
Calling hours will be at St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main Street, Ravena, Friday, July 18, from 4 to 6 p.m., and Saturday, July 19 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m., Saturday, in the church, followed by burial of her ashes in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Coeymans.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to "The Pantry at St. Patrick's," 21 Main Street, Ravena, N.Y. 12143, will be appreciated. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Godoy at NYOH, as well as Community Hospice nurses, Justin and Patrick.

Dear Donna and family,
So sorry to hear of Diane´s passing. Your family has gone above and beyond in maintaining a vibrant parish at St. Patrick´s. I know that Diane worked very hard with the food pantry helping the hundreds of people depending on her and the parish.she certainly will be missed and know that she, you and your family will be in my prayers.
