Survived by husband of 56 years, Kent; son, Matt Savery and wife, Mindy; daughter, Lori Savery-Hinze and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Steven and wife, Rylee, Savanna, Malcolm, Isaac, Hayden; sister, Sherita Harlow and husband, Ed; brother, Charles Lambrecht; many other relatives; and friends.
CELEBRATION OF ANITA'S LIFE: Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11 a.m., with family receiving friends one hour prior to the service, all at FaithWestwood United Methodist Church, 4814 Oaks Ln. Omaha. I knew Anita from teaching with her at Belvedere Elementary School in OPS. Anita taught 5th grade. She cared a great deal for her students, and embraced the High Trust skills as a guide to support her students.
Anita developed the Belvedere Bobcat School newspaper. There is no doubt Anita told great stories. To the family, please know Anita left a positive mark on the Belvedere School Community. I enjoyed working with Anita and she will be missed.

So sorry to see that Anita had passed away. I remember her from school many decades ago. I don't drive to Omaha but I will be thinking of you, Charles and Sherita, as well as the rest of Anita's family. Will they be posting her Obituary as I don't see it here. I'm interested in knowing what all she did after graduating from Red Cloud High School. May God comfort you all.
