I just heard of this yesterday. Played a lot of golf with Tony in NH, along with Tom Scallon. So sorry for your loss, and prayers and thoughts to your family from Brenda and me.

Anthony J. “Tony” Gotto, 64, of Urbandale, Iowa and formerly of Dyersville, Iowa, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at his home in Urbandale, Iowa. Friends and relatives of Tony may call from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa, where a wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Services for Tony will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville, Iowa with Rev. Jeffery Dole Presiding. Burial will be held in St. Francis Cemetery in Dyersville, Iowa. Tony was born October 11, 1952 in Farley, Iowa, son of Joseph and Mary (Kluesner) Gotto. He is a graduate of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa and a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with a BS in Psychology. On October 9, 1976 he was united in marriage to Pat Rave at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Greeley, Iowa. Anthony was employed as a Human Resource Director, first at the Sara Lee Corp. in New Hampton and Chicago, then at R.R. Donnelley and then with TSA with Homeland Securities until his retirement in 2015. He was a CUBS and Hawkeye fan, he enjoyed golf, and taking his classic car to shows. He was a devoted husband and father and especially liked to spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Pat Gotto of Urbandale, IA; one daughter, Sarah (Kory) Brady of Johnston, IA; 3 grandchildren, Maximus, Maple and Mayer Brady; 3 siblings, Kay Gansemer of Dyersville, Janet (Ronald) Luehrsmann of Marion and Helen (Dave) Wegmann of Farley; his mother-in-law, Norma Rave of Manchester; 8 brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken (Kris), Bill (Darla), Jerry (Mary), Jim (Anne), John (Carol) and Tom (Amy) Rave, Mary (Greg) Steffen and Barb (Dan) Hogan all from the immediate area.
