Helen and family,
So sorry to hear about Robert's untimely passing. I still cherish the memories we had as kids growing up on Pleasant Lake with our friends the Cicchettos. My thoughts and prayers to all of your family.

Robert's Obituaries

Deerfield, NH

Robert Lee Cicchetto, age 64, of North Road in Deerfield, died April 8, 2018.

Born December 25, 1953 in Wilmington, MA, a son of Giovanni “John” and Grace Elizabeth (Lee) Cicchetto, he was a graduate of Pembroke Academy, Class of 1971. He came from Woburn, MA and resided in Deerfield, NH for 49 years.

Rob was sole proprietor of Rochester Sports Center, his family business since 1988. He has also worked for Snap-On Tool dealer from 1978-1985, Shop foreman - Bickford’s Sports Center Early 1970’s, and a Marine technician at Deerfield’s Pleasant Lake Marina 1968-1971

He loved motorcycling, snowmobiling, boating and bicycling. An avid antique snowmobile collector, he was a yearly participant in the Vintage Snowmobile Show at the NH Snowmobile Museum. He enjoyed planning long range motorcycle and snowmobile trips and spending time at the family camp in Stewartstown.

Rob was a member of the NH Snowmobile Assoc., a charter member of Northwood Crankpullers snowmobile club and also many other local NH snowmobile clubs, ISMA and ACSA. A member of Granite State Chapter of VMC, NHMRO, NH ATV Club, Tread Lightly, and also Rochester and Barrington Chamber of Commerce.  

Survived by his wife of 43 years Helen (Guptill) Cicchetto, 2 children: Jennifer L. Cicchetto Tuthill, Carl J. Cicchetto and his girlfriend Jennifer Sabin, grandson: Emmett Matthew Cicchetto, 4 brothers: John R. Cicchetto, Mark Cicchetto, Russell E. Cicchetto, Randal A. Cicchetto, also many Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by his son Matthew Robert Cicchetto and 2 brothers: Richard J. Cicchetto and David G. Cicchetto.

Calling hours are on Saturday from 2-5pm and on Sunday from 2-5pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11am at St. Mary’s Church on Lowell Street in Rochester, NH with Fr. Patrick Gilbert, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Rochester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to either Easterseals Camp Sno-Mo, Hidden Valley Reservation, 260 Griswold Lane, Gilmanton Iron Works, NH 03837 or David’s House, 461 Mt. Support Road, Lebanon, NH 03766.
