Bonnie and family: our condolences in the loss of Wayne. A contribution will be made to the Luekemia Lymphoma society of Pittsburgh from the Greater Youngstown Multiple Myeloma Support Group at a later date. May God be with you at this difficult time.

Wayne's Obituary

Wayne L. Morris, 79, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of October 7, 2018 at the Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle after a brave 9 year battle with multiple myeloma.

Born January 20, 1939 in New Castle, he was the son of Clifford L. and Marie J. (Drake) Morris.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie J. (Kelley) Morris, whom he married March 20, 1959.

Wayne was a 1956 graduate of New Castle High School after also attending New Castle Vocational School. He served his country in the U.S.Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis from 1962-1964 as a Specialist 4.

He was employed as a tool and pattern maker for 30 years with General Motors in the Lordstown plant until his retirement on October 1, 2003.

Wayne was an endowment member of NRA and attended Challenges. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and reloading shells. He attended New Wilmington Alliance Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Pamela (Dan) Print of Bulger, PA; two sons, David Morris of Colorado Springs, CO. and Russell (Chris) Morris  of Auburn Hills, MI; one brother, James B. Morris of Idaho; and two grandchildren, Jason Morris and Emily Morris of Auburn Hills, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John Grusendorf officiating.

Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens mausoleum.
