EDWARD F. HERP, 79, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018. Ed was a graduate of St. Xavier High School (class of 1957) and attended Bellarmine University. He retired from the Pharmacy Department of Jewish Hospital after more than 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis E. (“Mike”) Herp and Mary Louise (Stucy) Herp, his sister, Rose Ann, and brother, Donald. The Herp family were members of St. Raphael Parish, where they were also active with Boy Scout Troop 42.Married on September 9, 1966, Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Martha (Koenig) Herp, sons, Thomas (Stacey), Robert (Christina), and grandsons, Patrick, Michael, Timothy and Andrew. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues. Private burial at Cave Hill Cemetery will follow.The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, all memorial tributes be directed to the WHAS Crusade for Children, 520 West Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202.
