Not sure what to say?

Mark was a true inspiration to all of us. Despite his physical challenges, he delighted
in ministering to those at Silverado Memory Care, including my mother, and sharing
the Good News with them. When we would see him in the neighborhood, he was
always upbeat, and it was a delight to talk with him. We hope that the the high regard which others held for Mark will bring comfort to his family. Steve & Luanne Beller

Bill & I so sorry to hear about Mark's passing and send our love & prayers to Glena, Kelly and the family. It is many years since the three of you left St. Stephen's, but the distance between us could never erase the many happy memories we have of times spent together. May God hold you in His loving arms.

We are so saddened by this news. Mark was such a warm and welcoming face to our son each Sunday morning! He always called him by name and made him feel special. God used him greatly to display his love to our son, and we are forever grateful. Well done, good and faithful servant!

Harry and l were so sad to hear this news!
Glena, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. He was a special person.

My heart goes out to Glena, Kelly and the entire family. I first met Mark when Glena and I were room mates in college. When Mark and Glena first met, I believe it was love at first sight and the longevity of their marriage proves it was the "real thing." i have read so many wonderful tributes to Mark and he well deserves each and every kind word. It is with deepest sympathy that I reach out to you now and offer you a warm, caring hug across the miles. May the Holy Comforter and your...

Mark was a wonderful man, great husband, dad and grandfather to his 6 grands. He was a man of faith, who let those strong beliefs guide him in life. On behalf of the Myers family of Illinois, your cousins, we are saddened by your passing and pray for your family, especially Glena and Kelly.

Mark's Obituary

Mark William Siebert, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.  Mark was a person who loved the Lord Jesus, loved his family, and never met a stranger.  His sense of humor and warm smile will be missed by all who knew him.

He grew up in Indiana and South Dakota, and earned a mechanical engineering degree from Valparaiso University in 1975.  A week after graduation, he married his college sweetheart, Glena. He later received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and became a licensed Professional Engineer.

Mark spent 40 years working as an engineer/project manager in the oil and gas industry.  The first 24 years were with PDM in Pittsburgh, Pa, and in The Woodlands.  Then he finished his career with CB&I in the Houston area until his retirement in 2016.  He greatly enjoyed the travel he did with his family and for his job, especially throughout Latin America.

He was a loving father and was close to his daughter.  He served in children’s and student ministries while she was growing up in Pennsylvania.  In addition, he served in many other ministry areas in his church.  After his daughter was grown, Mark loved living near her and her family, and spent much of his time playing with his grandchildren.  They especially enjoyed building things, doing projects, and fishing.

In recent years, he continued to share his faith by serving as a third grade Sunday school teacher at WoodsEdge Community Church and also led a weekly Bible study at a local home for the elderly.  His faith, his family, his serving, and the people in his life were the most important things to him.  He was a caring, loving, devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

In addition to his wife Glena, Mark is survived by his daughter Kelly Phillips (Bill), grandchildren Mark, John, Becca, Ali, David and Kate, brother Jim (Terri), and other nieces and nephews and their families.
