Not sure what to say?

For some reason Kristi came into my mind today, and after many years of her leaving Eugene, I was so sad to know that now I could not communicate with her. I knew her for many years during the time she was at Clinical Services in Eugene. We were both friends and served on boards together. When she moved to Denver, I visited her there and saw her several times when she returned to Oregon. The last time I saw her was at our lake home in Minnesota during the early 2000's. I would have loved...

Kristi was an amazing woman and friend!! She was always so kind!!

Kristi was indeed an inspiration to me as well. Her unflagging spirit and determination were evident. Though I didnt know her well, she leaves me with a sense of gratitude having been in her presence, even briefly. Gods light & blessings shone through her.

Kristi was always an inspiration to me no matter the subject. And she was interested in many. But she and I connected particularly around our common commitment to Bread for the World which she supported as a result of her Mother's support of BFW and its admirable mission to work towards ending hunger. Thanks, Kristi, for all the ways you helped so many people, including through BFW!

May the God of all comfort sustain your family during the days ahead Psalms 119:76

In my saved emails is my last exchange with Kristi. We were comparing notes on a 50 year old photo that included each of us plus one of her roommates and one of mine. It is a good symbol of a half-century friendship, one that survived despite distance and time. I could not have had a better friend and I will miss her dearly.

Kristi was one of the most interesting people I knew. We met through work in the 80's and our friendship continued through retirement. Rest in peace and may God bless you my friend.

Kristi introduced me to her room mate Carol Lewis. The love of my life. I will always
Be grateful for the joy she has brought into my life.
