I'll never forget when Sarah, Clare, and I took Carl tubing on the Arkansas River when he came to visit us on our farm in Canon City, CO. Carl took resistance work very seriously but he also knew how to have fun and make you laugh. Thanks for the example you gave us Carl. Love you.

Our first arrest together was December 1976, ordered by Jimmy Carter in Plains, Georgia, prior to his inauguration.
