Terrence Deibel Obituary

Deibel Terrence James Deibel, age 53, Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Greeter at Kroger - Polaris Pkwy. Former member of: Y.E.S. wheel chair square dancers, volunteer for M.O.B.I.L.E., diocesan board for people with disabilities, member of board for United Cerebral Palsy and current member of Knights of Columbus. Graduate of Beechcroft High School. Preceded in death by his father James L. Deibel. Survived by his mother, Arlene Deibel; sisters and brothers, Christopher (Beth), Julie (Bill Stephenson), Theodore (Yvonne), Brian (Mary); adopted brothers, Bill Nagy (Veronica) and Moses Jordan; nieces and nephews, Emily (Jason), Katrina (Armani), Andrew, James, Grant, Matthew (Kirsten), Nicholas, Jonathan, Claire, William; great-nephew, Logan; loving care giver, Ulric "Jeff" Jones. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Friday at the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Peace Church, 20 E. Dominion Blvd. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. Special thank you to the ICU, VTS, 2 + 4 orange nursing staff at Riverside Hospital who cared for Terry over the last 6 months as well as Dr. Jefferson Lyons who thought outside the box to give Terry another chance at life. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in his memory to the K of C c/o OLP Church.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mrs. Deibel and family. I attended Neil Ave. school with Terry. In more recent years I occasionally had the opportunity to have a pleasant visit with him at Kroger Polaris. Take care.
