The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Blackwelder is survived by her son, Mr. William "Bill" Blackwelder Jr. of Gastonia.

Bill sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Rest assured she is in heaven looking down with love on you. Your mom & dad was 2 of my favorite people I ever knew and really enjoyed knowing them while I was at St. James. Bill May God Bless you!!! I know how proud the both of them were of you.
