Daniel Montague Obituary

Daniel James Montague

July 2, 1942 - November 20, 2020

Daniel Montague went to heaven to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on November 20, 2020. He was 78 years old.

Daniel was born in Greeley, Colorado, on July 2, 1942 to James and Isabella Montague. He graduated from Fruita High School in 1960.

He married the love of his life, Phyllis Bizer, in 1963. God blessed their family in 1964, with their precious son, Allen. They were happily married for 57 years.

He worked in the Auto Glass Industry for 35 years. He was employed in the family business, Max's Auto Parts.

He was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church and enjoyed serving the Lord.

Danny's favorite pastimes included spending time on his mountain property, "Peaceful 40", camping, hunting, viewing wildlife, family picnics, riding horses, working with cattle, and ATV rides.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; son, Allen; daughter-in-law, Liz, and sisters, Shirley Sandersen and Patricia Burns. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, and five sisters.
