I met Jerry just this year at Yale. I was there to research for a thesis on Jeb. I will never forget his kind heart and his willingness to talk to me about Jeb. My heartfelt condolences to his entire extended family, and my heart goes out to Bob and Pat.

I met Jerry in 1995 when studying at Yale, and we have since formed a strong friendship. His is a great friend with a great heart, and he is always passionate about Nascar, nature, travel, and his award-winning stamp collections. He will be dearly missed.

Uncle Jerry was a wonderful man and I looked up to him always. He was a wonderful partner to Uncle Jeb and to Bob and a fantastic uncle. I'll always remember him for his tough guy demeanor that surrounded a tender heart.

Jerry was my first high school crush, my fourth older brother (in-law), and my major support through the trials and tribulations of growing up female in the early 70's; he and Jeb were there no matter what social ills befell me. And Jerry was there for Jeb right up to his death, as Bob was for Jerry. Maybe nice guys finish first after all.

I knew Jerry when we attended Farmington High School together in the 1960's. He was a good friend and classmate, and shall be missed by so many. I had not seen Jerry in many years, but am sure he will be long remembered by all. God Bless.

Jerry was such a delightful man and devoted partner to Jeb. I was enhanced by their friendship and I miss them both very much. May they now be together in eternal peace. Aaron Laushway
