SULTANIK--Kalman. The World Jewish Congress mourns the passing of our revered long-term Vice President, Kalman Sultanik. A leader of the Zionist movement, Kalman survived the Holocaust to avidly promote the cause of Israel and devote himself to helping the remnants of Polish Jewry. He believed in the preservation of historical memory to educate future generations and tirelessly taught the lessons of the Holocaust in the battle against anti-Semitism. His leadership in so many branches of the Jewish community highlight a lifetime of service. We extend our deepest condolences to his family. May his memory be for a blessing. Ronald S.
