Juanita Everman, 101, of Washington C.H., Ohio, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington C.H.
She was born June 6, 1913 in Greenfield, the daughter of Samuel Washington and Myrta Chain.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Greenfield Church of Christ, and a 1932 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School.
She is survived by two sons, Russell Everman of Las Vegas and Douglas (Bev) Everman of Blanchester; one daughter, Phyllis (Harvey) Everhart of Washington C.H.; four grandchildren, James (Tammy) Everman and Mark Everman, both of Bellefontaine, and Shawna (Mike) Adams and Michelle Vanzant, both of Washington C.H.; one foster granddaughter, Embyr Carlton of Blanchester; eight great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Emily and Madison Everman of Bellefontaine, Kalina and Hannah Adams, and Rhiannon Vanzant, all of Washington C.H., and Mark and Kylee Everman of Cincinnati; and two nieces, Judy (Dale) McCormick of Georgetown and Jean Simkins of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Everman, on Dec. 2, 1989; one son, James A. Everman; four brothers, Sammuel, Raymond, Dwight and Hugh; three sisters, Dorothy, Sarah and Minnie; and both parents.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with pastor Danny Dodds and pastor Bill Requardt officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
