Mr. Messer,
I know your heart is aching with the loss of your one true love, Mrs. Messer. How I cherish and will forever remember the night at Morningside during the Valentine's dinner, you and Mrs. Messer were holding each others hands and you looked at her with love in your eyes as you were singing the song to her. What a beautiful testament to the love you shared with each other.
May you find peace in the comfort of precious memories and the knowledge that one day you will be reunited together in heaven.

Kim,Bruce,Mr. Messer and Family: Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of the loss of a precious mother, wife, grand and great-grandmother. I have so many sweet memories of Charlotte when Kim and Vicki played Barbie's together and later went through school and church together. She was a beautiful testimony of a Christian wife and mother and friend. I know you already miss her but are rejoicing because she suffers no more in her physical body. Praying God will grant grace and comfort in the days ahead for each of you. Love to you all. Psalm 62:8

Mrs. Messer had such a gentle, sweet spirit about her; she was a beautiful person, inside and outside. She will be greatly missed but I know that she is in Heaven and is no longer in any pain. She is singing with the beautiful angels who now have another voice in their midst.

Mr Jimmy,,my memories of your sweet wife will always be with her hands lifted high, her eyes closed in praise to our Savior, and her sweet voice singing with me at Morningside. Dear Pop and Kim,
I am sure like both of you, this is a bittersweet time. Thankful she is with Jesus with no pain, no diabetes, and with perfect eye sight but, oh, how I miss her already. She was such a wonderful, caring, and understanding lady. She always knew what to say and always had time for you. Sometimes it was just something funny but still so full of wisdom. i always knew she was praying for me. She was a true example of being able to see Jesus in her life. Mama Charlotte was a Godly example to all of those around her. Just know, Pop and Kim, that I love you both dearly and will continue to pray for you both in the days ahead. Every memory I have of Mrs. Messer is a sweet one! She always had a kind word of encouragement and a thankful heart to the LORD for blessing her with a gentle husband, a beautiful daughter and precious grand & great grandkids. We always enjoyed reminiscing of the time she helped send Mr. Messer across the ocean to Africa to put Daddy's dental office back together again. He was a much-talked-about guest in our home because we'd never met a man who could sleep and saw logs at the same time! :) Oh, I wish I could've been at Heaven's Gate when she got to SEE our Savior face to face with perfect 20/20 vision. No more diabetes---woohoo!!! Soooo happy for her and the joyful celebrations she's having with dear Mrs. Phyllis ... and of all the weeks to go to Heaven, she gets to sit and listen to Jesus tell "HISTORY" of Calvary, His Resurrection & the looks on the women's & disciples' faces when they realized WHO they were actually talking to.
