Frances E. Good

Frances E. Good, 77, entered her Eternal Home on Monday, December 2, 2013 from a local hospital. A celebration of her earthly life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Neyman will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Thursday at the funeral home. They suggest that those who wish make memorial contributions to Hephzibah Children's Home, 6601 Zebulon Road, Macon 31210.

Ms. Good, daughter of the late Adam and Alice Dancy Good, was born in Schenectady, NY and had lived in Macon most of her life. She served as a relief Houseparent at Hephzibah Children's Home retiring after twenty-five years. She accepted the Lord at the age of seventeen and he has guided her life daily and began her ministry of helping others in whatever capacity she was able. She was a member of Macon Wesleyan Church where she often helped with the church mail-outs. She was known lovingly as "Froggie" where her children started giving her frogs and her collection has grown to over 1000 frogs today. She was known to be strong willed and determined to follow her course. Ms. Good served as a volunteer at Coliseum Northside Hospital and was recognized for 5200 volunteer hours there. Blessed with a large family, she was preceded in death by nine of her brothers and sisters. She was thrilled to have become Godmother to Tammy.

Survivors include her brothers and sister, Adam Good, Anna Platti of Bennington, VT, Sue Lloyd, Peter Good of Saratoga, NY and Ben Good of Albany, NY and tweny four nieces and nephews.
