Jessie Gates Obituary
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Eastern Star Church. Minister Evenlyn Gardner and Rev. J.D. King will officiate. Burial will be in Okolona Cemetery. Williams Memorial of Okolona is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucinda Stanfield of Houston and Karen Small (Dexter) of Okolona; two sons, Christopher Gates (Andrea) of Memphis and Willie Rowe of Canton; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Gates, and a son, Jessie Gates Jr.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
