Marie passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 13 at the age of 90. She enjoyed being able to stay in her home of 48 years.
Marie grew up in Philadelphia, PA, graduated from Germantown High, and worked in the medical field. She married the love of her life Jim on May 6, 1950, and the couple had two sons. After serving a full term as stay at home mother, she returned to work as a physician's assistant in Walnut Creek.
Marie was preceded in death by husband Jim, and is survived by sons Barry (Sue) and Jeff (Laura), grandchildren Matthew (Annie), Lindsay Childers (Jon), Rachel and Bradley, and great granddaughter Allison Childers.
A service giving thanks for the blessing of Marie will be held at 1:00 PM January 28 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Pleasant Hill. Fellowship and refreshments to follow. Remembrances in lieu of flowers may be directed to Rodgers Ranch in Pleasant Hill.

Deepest sympathy to the family. I am a former St. Andrews Presbyterian Church member. My parents were good friends of Marie and Jim. Rest her soul. She was a blessing in this world and at St. Andrews.
