We met with Crystal to make arrangements when my mother passed. Crystal explained all our options and answered all our questions. Her compassion made that difficult conversation much easier. We opted to have the video tribute as part of the obituary. I’m so glad we did, it was important for family not in the area and we received many compliments. Not only were our expectations met, they were exceeded.

My several experiences with Beers and Story have consistently been comforting. Times of loss are so very challenging. Their organized, respectful, and soothing approach helped to guide our family through the necessary decisions and planning of our loved ones funeral arrangements. Does it sound weird to write a review of a Funeral Home? I agree, but I have to share with you how amazing this group is. My Dad passed away rather unexpectedly last week. My family and I met with Alyssa at the Funeral Home who explained absolutely everything, and helped us go through options for services. My Dad was not a religious person, so we chose to work with a "celebrant", instead of clergy for his services. Cindy, the celebrant, came out to our house and listened to many stories about my Dad. She helped us choose music that would celebrate his life, and give him the sending off that I think he would truly appreciate. She was able to weave these stories into a tapestry of his life into a eulogy that was absolutely amazing. She caught much of his personality in his story, and then opened the floor up to words from others. She was incredibly patient and kind. All the while, Alyssa stayed by our sides and directed everything. She and Cindy were a well versed pair, making sure that we had everything we needed. Many other people were involved, I'm sorry I do not know their names. Everyone was gracious and kind, lending words of support. I am so glad that we used Beers and Story for this very difficult time. I have seen other funeral homes do cookie-cutter services, and this was absolutely not one of them. My Dad would have been very pleased. Thank you, Alyssa and Cindy. You do great work.

Beers & Story made the process of planning a funeral as easy and as simple as it could be. They went above and beyond with planning, prepping and suggestions and following through with all of them. They worked everyday to accommodate us even on a holiday weekend. Everything from the way they speak with you to their patience to the little details incorporated into any and all services goes above and beyond what is typically expected. We chose Beers & Story because it was able to accommodate a large amount of people however if, God forbid, I have to plan another funeral I would chose them again no matter the size of expected guests. Attendees at the funeral went out of their way to let me know that they have never seen a funeral director so involved, so helpful, so compassionate and so accommodating as Wendy. We appreciate all of your help with every step and all of your suggestions that allowed us to lay to rest our loved one in the best way possible.
