We were just there for my sweet Aunts service. Customer service was beyond exceptional. Kelsey and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our family and friends were treated with care and respect. The saddest of occasions but we were more than pleased with everything.

I have used this funeral home 3 times. Each time our family was thoroughly impressed with the compassion from the directors and staff and they very accommodating. Our family was guided every step of the way with their open communication, which in times like this are very comforting. We received many compliments on each service, it was very organized, ran smoothly and their ability to try to make this time as painless as possible was very appreciated!

Avoid this funeral home. The level of service and attention to detail is not what it used to be, unfortunately. In addition, the Funeral Director promises things in person but does not keep her word. Update: Thank you for the response. As you referenced, there were several disappointing issues regarding the service we received. 1. We were assured in person that no obituary would be posted until the family written obituary was submitted. Nothing was mentioned of a requirement that it is only done during “business hours”. I am just glad my precious grandmother passed away during “business hours”. To imply that it was my responsibility to call an after hours number to ask that that which was promised in person be done is a prime example of the total lack of attention to details that were not present. The obituary was finally published after her funeral and no reply to my emails was ever received. 2. The family delivered a Bible to the funeral home to be used during the graveside service, it was forgotten at the funeral home. While it was delivered just moments before the service, most people asked what that was. Again, lack of attention to details. 3. I was assured that I would receive a phone call when the death certificates were ready. That call never came. As stated, I advise people looking for a funeral home, search elsewhere. Our experience was deeply heartbreaking, especially having known the Scroggs family for over 40 years.

When my grandmother passed the Scroggs family was so caring of my needs. I have never been through this before and they helped me with everything I needed while making it very clear and easy for me. As a young female I was happy to see a funeral director around the same age as me and also a female. It helped put me at ease during such a hard time knowing a female would be working on my grandmother and also being there for me when I needed to make changes on the service. Will be using them again in the future for any funeral needs.

I came in late one Thursday afternoon to get help with a memorial service I was planning for our son that Saturday. Margie was available to help us and she did not skip a beat. They ended up being busy and she still managed to make us feel like she was giving us her undivided attention and help. She helped us with a wonderful memorial video, and all of the things we needed for the service. I was lost as to what we even needed to be honest, and she lead the way to make it not seem so overwhelming. They are top notch and my family has used them for years and I hope that if your family is going through a loss you will seek them for your funeral or memorial service needs.
