My mother passed away last month and unfortunately she had not made funeral plans or made her wishes known to us. When we made calls to the funeral homes in the area to see what was available we were surprised at the disparity in cost. Potere-Modetz was by far the best price for similar services. The owner, John, was especially helpful and professional and the rest of the staff (Teri, JoAnn and Rececca) all assisted in making a sad day a little nicer. 1. John Modetz was rude to my mother and my family. 2. He revealed a confidential conversation to an opposing family member. 3. He revealed the condition of my brothers body to a non family member. 4. He lied to my nephew about not having a funding program. 5. He refused to allow my mother or any of his siblings to see my brothers dead body before they buried him. Needless to say we are very disappointed in the unprofessional and unethical behavior of this funeral director and would not recommend this same experience to anyone else.
