Description
Eugene J. Zale founded our funeral home in 1957, which has been serving our community for three generations. Eugene and his wife Halina, who still lives at the funeral home, raised their three sons in the original part of the building. Raymond, Robert and Ronald attended Our Lady of Grace School and Sterling High School in Somerdale, NJ before entering mortuary school. On December 23, 1989, Eugene passed away leaving Raymond, Robert and Ronald to continue the second generation of Zale Funeral Home. In 1994, Zale Funeral Home went under major construction to become the building it is today. As for the third generation, Raymond’s son Sean became licensed in 2012 and Ronald’s son Cristian is currently pursuing licensure. Zale Funeral Home is proud to be a family owned and operated business for nearly 60 years.
