I can’t say enough good things about the people at Heritage, especially Karen and Robert. At a very difficult time, they made my family and I very comfortable and genuinely cared about our loss. The entire process was much easier than we expected. Karen is a true professional, who listened to what we wanted and then made it happen. The private viewing she arranged really helped our grieving process. The day of the funeral, Robert made sure everything ran smoothly and checked in with me several times to ask if we needed anything. True professionals, but more importantly, very caring people. Highly recommend.

I cannot stress enough how much I would recommend Heritage to anyone going through the painful experience of losing a loved one. Robert and the entire staff were incredible at helping me through the otherwise confusing process that comes after losing a loved one. When nothing else seemed to be working out the way that it should, Robert at heritage was following up with me every time there was an update in the process of acquiring a death certificate and providing me any information I needed to proceed with my mother’s cremation. Everyone at the staff was understanding and helpful. All of my calls were quickly answered or returned. When I had trouble reaching medical offices or county offices for information, Heritage was able to do so for me. Losing someone is a difficult process, but I am beyond grateful that everyone there was able to make it a little bit easier. I was always spoken to in a straightforward manner and never once felt that I was getting a sales pitch playing at my emotions during such a sensitive time. I am thankful for everyone at this location, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone else who is looking for assistance and understanding when planning services for a loved one. Robert Murphy and the folks at Heritage were absolutely amazing to work with for my Mother's Funeral Service. He made it very easy to plan the Service and understood just what we wanted for our Mother. The pianist was perfect to the point of matching my Mother's style of playing the piano. Karen Reardon and all the staff at Heritage funeral home in Matthews were fantastic. My Aunt had a green burial the grounds are beautiful. A Baptist Minister (who was recommended by the funeral home) performed the service which was so perfect. The whole experience provided comfort to her friends and family. We are so grateful for.
