Not sure what to say?

I am happy, once again, to share the enthusiasm and spirit I saw from Martin when he created around his Charles Brand press. His eyes and positive perspective of his creative act was as 'one' with his art! While I was president of the Long Island Printmakers Society, it was always a pleasure and honor to include Martin in the exhibitions.

Martin was a friend, a colleague and an artist that my dear friend Dick Mello introduced me to, back in the 1970's. He was part of our printmaking group, the Long Island Printmakers and participated in many exhibitions and meetings together. We had been speaking about his press a few months ago as I told him I could help him. Sincerely and with my deepest condolences, Dan Welden

I knew Martin well. He was the first cousin of my husband. Martin was a very sweet person with a big heart. He and Mary visited us, in summer, in Aurora, bringing with him several of his prints as a gift. Both he and his art will always be remembered. Martin will be missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
