I am so happy that i chose Evans Funeral home. Dwight and Allison by far some of the kindest most sweet people we have ever met. Dwight made such a delightful impact on our mother through this hard time. She says he’s an Angel sent from above to help everyone to whom have to go through the loss of a loved one and she felt that he genuinely cared about her pain and sadness. As well as for myself i felt so warm and consoled by them. I am so GRATEFUL for everything they have done for us really. You guys are amazing ❤️ Thank you

I want to thank all of the staff from Evans Funeral Home for doing a great job on my mother and helping my family threw this hard time, the whole entire staff did an outstanding job, if I could I would give you 10 stars, Dwight is an amazing and funny guy I will definitely recommend you to everyone

There are too few words I can say to thank Evans Funeral Home. My family has used Evans Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Columbus, Ohio for decades. My grandmother, aunt, and now mother were all cared for by this family-run business. They were sensitive about the cost and offered me ways to cut the costs and expenses of my mother's service and burial. As an only child, it all fell to me to take care of these arrangements when my mother died from cancer (PSA - stop smoking, or better yet, do not start). Because Evans had taken care of my aunt and grandmother, the decision was very simple. The facility is nice, although a little dated, but it is set up to accommodate multiple services at the same time. They prepared my mother and she looked very good and not over-done. The personal service there, as well as the flexibility to pay over time saved my sanity. I will continue to recommend them for the rest of my life. Thank you so much to Melanie's staff and each and every person there who treated my mother, myself, and my family with the utmost care, empathy, and respect. THANK YOU! They were

I was recently here for the homegoing services of my niece. To say the least I’m am VERY disappointed in the service provided. Staff was very rude and unsympathetic. They did not greet my family with compassion nor did they ever at any point in dealing with them express their condolences for my loved one. Im not sure why but there was a dog barking and roaming the premises which I honestly believe may not even be legal. At the time of the service they had to be reminded to play the dvd. We also had to ask for tissues for grieving family and friends because there wasn’t any available. I did the makeup and hair and they made me feel extremely uncomfortable while doing so. They also did a VERY sloppy and what seemed to be a rush job on my loved ones mouth because their was glue around her mouth and on her lips because of what I believe was a result rush job or simply lack of compassion. Based on the reviews I’ve read I’m gonna assume you only get good service if your a repeat/regular customer. I’d highly recommend finding another place if it’s at all possible!!!
