Our mission is simple, we offer outstanding service and compassion at arguably the worst time of someone’s life. Now, during these trying times of pandemic lockdown, we are prepared to serve our families with even more diligence. From live streaming of services to the use of our visitation window, we are adapting to the needs of our clients. While other funeral homes may shy away from embalming certain bodies, we do not. If your wish is an open casket, then that is what you get. A professional embalmer is just that, a professional. We understand that calling a funeral home is not a call that anyone wants to make. When you call us, I answer the phone personally, 24 hours a day. You don't get handed off to an out of state answering service. Visiting a funeral home to make funeral arrangements is often a stressful experience that can begin with uncertainty and end with frustration. At Keith, we recognize that. We treat you as if you were one of our family. Hilton Head is a small town and developing and maintaining strong relationships is important to us. Also, we are the ONLY locally owned funeral home on the island. What makes us different? Mostly its the little things. We give every family the option of having one of our licensed funeral directors visit your home to handle the initial arrangements. Many times there is no need for the family to ever step foot in the funeral home if that is their choice. Obituary information, merchandise selection, and legal paperwork are handled right at the kitchen table. If you decide to visit the funeral home, you will immediately notice it is not decorated in traditional gloomy colors that are often associated with other establishments. Our chapel is small and intimate for smaller gatherings. Large services are typically held at a place of worship or country club and we can assist in any type of service at any venue. We are proud of our building and offer the only ADA compliant funeral home on the island. Our pricing structure is very simple and fair. There are no hidden “add ons” that can substantially increase cost. We welcome insurance assignments and do not add insult to injury by charging a processing fee. We offer some veteran programs that reflect our appreciation for loyal service to our great nation. Our preplanning programs can be funded or unfunded, we welcome the chance to explain the differences and benefits of each. Most sincerely, The Keith Family
