Ten Facts About Us We Want You To Know We are a fifth-generation, family-owned funeral home and have proudly served Rutherford and surrounding counties for over 120 years. We are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Whenever you call, you will speak with a staff member, not an answering service. We own and operate an onsite crematory at our Murfreesboro location. Although not required by the state of Tennessee, our funeral directors are certified and trained as crematory operators. By maintaining custody of your loved one the entire way through the cremation process, we can assure our high standards of dignity and respect are met. We believe this provides the “Peace of Mind” that firms using third-party cremation providers can’t offer. We have two modern locations convenient to you. Both have formal chapels, spacious visitation rooms, and kitchen facilities offering commercial refrigerators, ice machines, and coffee makers. They are fully stocked with cups, plates, and utensils. We also provide the staff to receive food and to clean up afterwards. We offer fair, competitive prices and clearly disclose them on our General Price List. We adhere to the highest ethical standards of family service. This has afforded us an invitation only membership in Selected Independent Funeral Homes, a worldwide professional association of independent, locally owned funeral homes focused on high standards. Please read our "Code of Good Practice". We specialize in Pre-Planned Funerals. Our planning options fit a variety of needs including spend-downs, single premium, and payment plans. We encourage you to Talk of A Lifetime We serve all faiths and cultures. We consistently receive positive reviews and feedback on our customer satisfaction surveys. In most cases, death certificates are available within three business days from the date of death. We do not, and will not, ever charge families to assign insurance benefits or file insurance claims
