The newest state of the art facility is located at 9521 North Loop, off of Americas. Our experience with Sunset Funeral Home West was great 12 years ago when my Father passed away and was just as great this past month when my Mother passed away. Chris and the staff were very kind and compassionate and helped us navigate the process with ease. The day of the funeral, everything went smoothly. The picture video they put together was amazing. And will be a great remembrance for our family for years to come. The following days they followed up with the death certificates and texts to make sure our family was doing okay. We appreciated their professionalism.

My wife recently passed away on Christmas day and after looking around for a funeral company to do her services, mostly all the ones that we checked with had a two to three week waiting period and some would not even see us for an appointment. We talk to Sunset funeral home and they gave us a next day early appointment and after talking to Chris the funeral Director he got us a January 3 day for my wife’s services. Chris and all the people working at Sunset were very professional and very compassionate in handling our service for my wife, everything turned out perfect. My Father passed away in El Paso , I was able to call from Denver to start the transfer process. Super easy ! Later my family went to the funeral home to start arrangements.I was included via face time . All the picking of the funeral plan was easy . We choose a 2 Day service . Everyone was super nice and the facility was clean and nice . A plus was the free mini reception area . Everything was set up beautifully for the viewing. We requested my father have a smile to his face and they made it happen . The next day the limo was on time at our pick up location and it had very good air conditioning. The burial service went very well. We liked the laminated prayer cards . And the fact that everything was also available for live stream . I would recommend this place!
