My mother in-law passed away suddenly a few months ago. Rusty Tapp and the entire staff were compassionate and extremely helpful to my wife during the arrangement process. They listened and every need was met as we walked through this difficult time. I would highly recommend Robert Massie Funeral home.

I prepaid a graveside ceremony with Robert Massie in 2016 for my Mother. Mom died recently so I called them. The owner spoke with me once on the phone but subsequently did not return calls to me or my brother. He was supposed to handle putting the obit in the newspaper but did not so I did. He did put it on their website but included information for sending flowers to the family when we asked that no flowers be sent. I reached out to him asking what the problem was and he still did not get in touch with me, hence this public comment. The graveside ceremony is on hold due to covid. As it stands now, I would not advise prepaying any service with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

We picked Robert Massey Massey because of its reputation. Rusty, the owner handled my father's funeral. With it being the most difficult time in our lives we should not be left to proofread his spelling. He had several misspelled words and names. He email some forms to fill out and didn't include and of the info on the obituary. It was sent out without our approval. We had no clue what the package included. so when we asked for a limousine for the pall bearers he said no!! We were paying for it!!! I am so displeased with the entire process. He never called and said your dad is ready to be viewed. Didn't let us know we weren't getting escorts. POOR communication. I can imagine what he would have said if he got the complaint on one of his assistants. I called to speak to him about my concerns. He replyed if there is something I can do for you...well he was my only father. How do you fix that????
