Kim and Tess have been caring for our family for almost two decades. There are no words that can adequately describe the care they have given to our family in three significant losses in our lives. Most recently, my sweet Granny, to whom I am so close, was in their care for her memorial service. From the way Kim personally handled all the details for her arrangements, to Tess working with my mom to make sure Granny's hair was just perfect, to the return of her ashes in the Urn we selected, every step was flawless, professional, beautiful. I was especially appreciative of the fact that from the time she passed away, Granny was in Kim and Tess's care for preparation, service, cremation, until she was released to our care in her Urn. That meant so much to know that her earthly remains were in the care of friends. The entire staff of Schertz Funeral Home truly cares for the living and the dead with compassion. From the bottom of my heart, they'll always have my admiration, respect, and gratitude.

AMAZING! There are so many things to compliment Schertz Funeral Home on. Mark Garza, no doubt was OUTSTANDING! From the beginning he was professional, honest, caring and wanted what was best for our family during this time. It is NEVER easy making funeral arrangements but Mark and his staff made us feel at ease. We trusted him! He was there from the beginning to the end without any hesitations or questions asked. His entire staff is very friendly and professional. The facility is very nice! It's very clean and it was perfect for us. Thank you Schertz Funeral Home and THANK YOU Mark Garza. When our mom died recently, the staff at Schertz Funeral Home went above and beyond my expectations. They made a difficult time for my family much easier. I am eternally grateful. 5 stars isn't enough. Very professional and sensitive to our needs. They took care of everything including the mountain of paperwork needed for burial arrangements through the VA at Ft Sam national cemetery and life insurance policy and even gave me 16 free prayer cards! Given the high stress during this time this was a big load off my shoulders. Thanks for everything.
