Surrisi, Bernice R. age 84, of Bloomington. Preceded in death by husband Joseph (1989) and survived by daughters and son-in- law, Cynthia Surrisi and Charles Hanebuth, Deborah Surrisi; grandchildren and their spouses, Magda Surrisi and Matthew Camp, Stuart and Michele Hanebuth, Ann Hanebuth; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Surrisi Camp and Michael Hanebuth. Bernice died of natural causes on July 5, 2012 and was interred with Joseph in Fort Snelling National Cemetery on July 11, 2012. Thank you to all the caregivers from the Minnesota Masonic Home who helped Mom navigate the last year of her life. All who knew Bernice remember her lovingly as a little sweetheart. I was a friend of Deborah's and I met Mrs. Surrisi when I was in 9th grade. She was very nice to me. I have lost track of Debbie and it would be fun to meet up again.

Dear Cindy and Debbie, My deepest sympathy to you.
I remember your Mother obtaining the phone number of Marv Anderson's work shack and she would call them every day while our houses were being built.Because of those calls, I know our houses were better built. She was a "go-getter" and a wonderful neighbor!
