Farewell David, an outstanding Local Government Professional in Victoria and then N.S.W. As Town Clerk at Prahran City Council Vic 1978 - 1992 you and Ian McDonald, City Engineer, were an excellent Leadership Team in the eyes and opinion of Councillors, loyal staff and the wider Community . Very astute financially with the highest integrity and honesty in Governance,you set a great example for the top echelon of L.G. Professionals with your Budget forward planning for major Projects and new Programs to enhance services for the Municipality & Ratepayers.Your "firm but fair" leadership, mentor-style ensured a committed & dedicated Staff complement. Many went on to become T.C.'s & C.E.O.'s in their own right per your example.Well done friend ,R.I.P. with the knowledge you made such a difference in so many ways, Geoff Myers (a former D.T.C.)
