Brother Lev taught me the freshmen required course: Legal Writing and I remember his patience and appreciated his sincere effort to improve my work. Over the years as I read and enjoyed his ux' great scholarship I assumed he helped her as he did me.

Over 14 years have passed.
One only has to have a loss to understand the pain.
May God have mercy.

Mary Ann - You and I overlapped only briefly when I first came to Mayer Friedlich, but I have very fond memories of Ed during my early years there, particularly as he delighted in teasing Hugo over lunch at the Berghoff. Please accept my sympathy. I'll keep you and Ed in my prayers.

I would want to be with you today and tomorrow, but I know what Ed would tell me. When I joked that he was a "Vatican Widower" -- given how often his beloved Mary Ann was having to be at the Vatican -- I would ask about lunch with him. He would tell me we would meet only when I had no only responsibilities. Unfortunately, with the few priests we have here, as well as graduate faculty, I am not able to be physically with you. I offered Holy Mass for Ed and all of his wonderful family this morning.

Please enter my name in the long entry I made just before this with the photo of The Lord God is My Shepherd.
