Alyssa Ramirez Obituary
An obituary provided by the Hurley Funeral Home in Devine said Alyssa was the homecoming queen of Devine High School, where she also was a cheerleader who played tennis and volleyball.
She served as president of the student council and co-edited the high school yearbook, the obituary said.
Alyssa, who aspired to be an optometrist, "had deeply held beliefs in the Bible, which she often wrote about," according to the obituary.

My petition is that you find comfort in the account of Jarius' daughter at Mark 5:41-42. It assures us that there is a future for Alyssa in the promised Paradise.

I read about your love and faith. God used this tragedy to open my eyes. I hope this helps a little and I hope it reminds all of us that our God has a plan.
