I have just learned about Jennifer's passing and even with the sadness that I feel right now - the happy memories of Jennifer take over and make me smile. Jennifer and I met our first week of school at North Texas and soon became roomates in our tiny dorm and then on to an apartment! My fondest memories of college all involve Jennifer and our road trips. My love goes out to your family as I sit and look at old pictures of us just having fun! We were both cat lovers! The world has lost such a sweet, funny, carefree person and I will think of you often. I cannot wait to see those beautiful brown eyes.

It's great what you are doing here for Jennifer's spirit! I knew Jennifer the best when we were younger. Our parents are friends so we would all spend time together. I remember her laugh... I remember she always had to have ice water with her ice cream. (ha) I am fortunate to have ran into her at Kohl's during Christmas time before she left. Blessings to her family.

I knew Jennifer only a very little from our high school days in Oscoda, MI.
She was very tall and almost always in a cheerleader uniform. I had a Chemistry class with her. She was always a very kind person.
It's interesting that she wound up in Texas, where I too finally landed. Sadly, I never knew her after Oscoda.
My sympathies to family and friends.

Jennifer was one of the main reasons I decided to work for Deloitte several years ago. She showed me the success that a woman can achieve in a business where mostly men ruled and she never gave up on helping me as well as others realize their potentials and did everything to help you achieve those dreams. She was a breath of fresh air in the world of public accounting and she was one of the funnest people I've ever met. I can honestly say that some of my best memories from Deloitte included her. She was a very loving and caring woman but didn't always let the world see that right away. But those who knew her, realized it very quickly. I miss her and am so happy to find out that this foundation exists. It's exactly what I think she would have wanted. She's still in my thoughts today.

It's been awhile since the world and our family lost a great person. Every morning I see her beaming smile, on my desktop, greeting me; as it does, I tell God how lucky He is to have her at his side, and how much we miss her here. Jennifer, watch the euchre games with your Gramps' since they have on uncanny way of coming out on the top side of the scorecard.
Love you,
Uncle Mike

I am so shocked and heartbroken to hear that Jen has passed. As one of my great friends at Oscoda High School, I will always cherish the memories of our cheerleading days, sleepovers, exchanging of clothes... the silly moments we all shared with her. Most of all, her never ending smile! It was great to see her at our 20 year class reunion in Oscoda. My deepest sympathy to her family - she certainly was a gem to all who knew her!

I spent time with Jennifer recruiting for UT. I will always remember her as a strong role model for women in business, and as a leader who believed in supporting the people around her. Lots of people mention her laugh, but I remember that she always made ME laugh. She was one of my favorite people at work, and I will miss her.

Dear Ruthie, Tom & Family: We are so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter & sister. I didn't get to see Jennifer much as we all grew up & moved away, but when I did, I don't think there was ever a time when she wasn't smiling, laughing or giving someone a well-deserved hard time as only she could do :o) We are praying for God's comfort and peace for all of you, and hope that you can take comfort in the knowledge that this is just a temporary farewell. Love, Traci & Ken

Jennifer,
Nothing will ever come close to the STARS weekend in Denver.... watching the STARS at the AAC and Starbucks Sundays.
I celebrate your special life, I celebrate YOU -- and since we didn't get the chance to do the get-together that we had planned after her London trek, I never got the chance to tell you how great of a friend you are.
"How wonderful life is while YOU are in the world".
Aloha,

I am shocked to hear the news that Jennifer has passed. I’ll never forget first meeting her at a hockey game back at the old Reunion Arena, soon after she passed my resume along, I was interviewed and then hired at Deloitte to do marketing. Years later, I took an accounting course and got stuck on the final project. She let me come over and helped till it was complete – which was about 2a on a work night. That elective course was the final thing I needed to formally complete my bachelors degree that I’d put off for many years. Her help has played a pivotal role in my professional development and thus, my life. She was thoughtful, giving, gracious and gregarious. Thank you God for loaning us Jennifer. May her smile and laughter grace the heavens above. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones.

Jen,
I know we only really got to know each other really well over the last year but I am grateful for that year and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. The Robbie concerts will never be the same but we will continue to wear the shirts in your honour!
In all seriousness, you were an inspiration to us all and I hope you know how much you will be missed. Save us a seat and we'll see you on the other side when the time is right. Rest in peace.
Luv,
Claire

I happened upon an obituary for Jennifer Anne Kemp in this morning's Dallas Morning News. While I did not know Jennifer personally or professionally, I found it very interesting that a prominent portion of her obituary was devoted to her love of the Dallas Stars. I just wanted to recognize Jennifer, a true Stars fan, on my message board and to extend my condolences to her family. She passed away at far too young an age. Rest in peace, Jennifer. We collectively will be pulling for the Stars in her absence. And, no doubt, she will be smiling down on them the next time they skate the Cup!

It's so hard seeing Jennifer's big beautiful smile gracing the obituary page. She was so passionate, vibrant, and full of life. I'm so glad to have had the chance to meet her and to recruit for Deloitte right alongside her. She genuinely cared about people, and I will never forget that. Your family is in my prayers.

I hadn't seen her face or heard of her name in many years, but I will never forget how genuine and respectable she was in high school. She was the kind of girl everyone liked. I am so very sorry for your family's loss. You are in my family's prayers. I agree with Mark Leach's comment that her beautiful smile does not belong in an obituary. It is very sad.
