Roland DE CHAMPLAIN Obituary
June 19, 1932 – August 1, 2014
The family of Roland de Champlain of Legal is saddened to announce his passing on Friday, August 1, 2014 at the age of 82 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Ernest (Doris Erickson) de Champlain; sisters: Bernice (Roger) St. Martin, and Colette Hills; as well as many numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his step-daughters: Dee Dee (Lyle) Trithart, Jackie Beaupre, and Marion Truemann; his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys de Champlain; parents: Phillippe and Marie Anne de Champlain; brothers: Maurice, Rene and Norbert; sisters-in-law: Rolande de Champlain and Lorraine de Champlain; and brother-in-law, Doug Hills.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014 at St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 5005 - 46 Street, Legal, Alberta.
Memorial Donations may be made in Roland's name to Youville Home, 9A St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, Alberta T8N 1K1.
